One feature PPG emphasises is that Nutrishield Solista has no intentionally added bisphenol A (BPA), aligning with the wider industry trend away from this controversial substance.
Gold, grey, and buff colours of Nutrishield Solista are available in formulations intended for use with ready meals, soup, sauces, pet food, and infant foods – including milk.
Todd White, PPG’s head of packaging coatings, says: ‘Nutrishield Solista internal spray coatings are approved for a wide variety of food packs, providing high-performance protection against a broad range of foods to meet brand-owners’s evolving requirements.
‘Major brand owners already recognise Nutrishield Solista spray coatings as the leading new-generation coating solutions, thanks to their enhanced characteristics for flavour neutrality, excellent pack and sulphur resistance, and meat-release properties.’
