Smithers Pira are also pleased to bring you a session dedicated to food industry perspectives on food packaging compliance, with speakers from both a brand owner and retailer; Dr Elly Spies, Manager Regulatory Affairs at FrieslandCampina Consumer Products EMEA and Paul Earnshaw, Packaging Manager at Tesco, who will also take delegates' questions on ensuring compliance in the supply chain.

On the Paper conference day, packaging companies DS Smith and MM Karton share their views on demonstrating paper based packaging compliance to European food contact regulations in the absence of a specific measure, alongside a presentation of FACET, and an evaluation of different mineral oil barriers for cardboard packed food from Fraunhofer IVV.

Networking opportunities throughout the 3 day conference are unrivalled in this industry, as attendance is supported by companies from across the food contact supply chain.
