Inge van Schöll is a Senior Project Manager and Scientific Expert within the Food-Contact Material team of Triskelion.
Company name: Ducares B.V., trading as TRISKELION (part of the Certania group)
Inge is an expert on food contact regulations and analytical method development. She has a focus on petitioning new substances to be used in food contact materials, mainly for the EU and USA.
With her 30 years of background in chromatography and mass spectrometry, Inge has developed many analytical methods for small molecules, metabolites, peptides, proteins and oligomers.
Graduated in chemistry in 1989, then a Master in Environmental Sciences from 1989 to 1991. Ph.D in analytical chemistry in the field of Ecotoxicology at the Swiss Federal Polytechnic School of Lausanne.
Scientific collaborator within the Swiss Federal Polytechnic School of Lausanne during 4 years.
He joined Nestlé Research Center in June 1998, working on packaging safety and compliance.
From 2007 to 2010, he moved to Nestlé Switzerland for the implementation of the packaging safety and compliance strategy of Nestlé Group.
2011 back to Nestlé Research Center to manage a project on adhesives.

Ales Bartl advises clients on regulatory compliance of a broad range of products marketed in the EU. Ales primarily
focuses on Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation, and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH), the Classification, Labelling, and
Packaging (CLP) regulation, Biocidal Products Regulation, Fertilizer Regulation, food law, regulation of electronic products, and product safety.
Ales represents clients in the European Courts and in procedures before the Board of Appeal of the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA). He also represents clients in various proceedings before the ECHA and the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), as well as before EU and national competent authorities on compliance and enforcement issues, including withdrawals and recalls of unsafe or non-compliant products.
Prior to joining Keller and Heckman, Ales interned at the European Commission and worked for almost ten years as an EU regulatory associate at two international law firms in Brussels.
José Antonio has been involved in the plastics industry for 35 years, mainly concentrating in the PET sector - virgin PET, co-polyesters, recycling and packaging. He has worked at multinational companies including Eastman, Artenius, and Selenis. In 2022 he started a collaboration with Petcore Europe to work as Secretary of the Functional Barrier Consortium.
José Antonio is CEO of IGBS, dedicated to technical, operational, and business consultancy, with a special focus on the plastic industry. As independent consultant, he has collaborated in the past with Petcore-Europe as coordinator of the Thermoforming Working Group. He also collaborates with Indorama on recycling integration projects.
José Antonio has a degree in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Granada (Spain) and PDD from the Austral University of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Carlos de la Cruz García is a regulatory and scientific affairs professional with more than two decades of experience supporting the safety and compliance of food products at different Nestlé businesses like Nespresso or Nestlé Nutrition. His work covered among others, food packaging, processing equipment, coffee machines and a range of food categories, with a consistent focus on consumer protection and practical regulatory implementation.
During these years, he has contributed to global and regional compliance programs, helping R&D, Operations, and Market teams navigate evolving food contact requirements in the EU and internationally. His background includes analytical chemistry and risk assessment, enabling him to translate complex regulatory environments into actionable guidance for cross functional teams.
Jeremy Hooper leads the Scientific and Regulatory Affairs team for Northern & Southern Europe at Mars Wrigley. Over the past 2.5 years, he has overseen scientific and regulatory affairs activity for food contact materials and food contaminants across the Europe region.
Jeremy's expertise in food contact safety and quality dates to 2011 when he moved into food & non-food packaging at Tesco. He later worked at Domino Printing on FCM regulatory compliance and at Loop (TerraCycle), where he developed processes and facilities for the safe reuse of food and consumer packaging.
Before moving into the food packaging sector, Jeremy spent 17 years working in food quality, safety, and product development with Campbell Soups and Tesco, in the UK and international businesses. He is an active member of the Food Contact Material (FCM) committees for FoodDrinkEurope and the UK Food and Drink Federation (FDF), where he is engaged with evolving EU and UK regulations on packaging safety and substances of concern.
Dr Martin Klatt, PhD, has been a chemist with BASF since 1995. In his current role he is REACh Coordinator and Global Registration Coordinator of the Operating Division Dispersions and Resins.
He has held multiple advocacy activities including President of dispersion producer’s association Europe (EPDLA), President of UVEB curable resins Europe (UVEB), Member of Board of ALIPA, Chair of Radtech HSE Committee (Radtech = Radiation curing technology value chain), Chair of Deutsche Bauchemie AK 6.10 “Polymere”, and Member of CARACAL Subgroup Polymers
