Caleb Holland brings a wealth of knowledge in food and drug regulatory law to his clients, with experience counseling over a dozen Fortune 500 companies across North America, the European Union, Latin America, and Asia, where he represents clients in the chemicals, food and beverage, consumer products, cosmetics, and medical device industries. Caleb provides analysis of current and upcoming chemical regulations, and has experience with regulatory filings, requests for information, deficiency letters, and providing rulemaking comments.
Caleb’s practice covers food contact and packaging materials regulations applicable to a wide range of products regulated by the FDA, USDA, and international regulatory bodies including those in China, Japan, and the European Union. He has assisted clients with establishing food contact compliance status through avenues such as Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) determinations, Food Contact Notifications (FCNs), and others. He has additional experience in reviewing food marketing/labeling claims to ensure compliance with state and federal law and to minimize risk of litigation.
Caleb has a background in cell and molecular biology, and has conducted research involving nanotechnology and neural immunology. Combined with his graduate study in Global Health policy, Caleb is uniquely positioned to advise clients on scientific legal matters in practical, business-focused terms.
