Global Food Contact USA 2012 - the only GLOBAL food contact forum

For 2012, Global Food Contact will take place in Baltimore, USA at the Tremont Plaza Hotel & Grand Historic Venue on 15-17 May 2012. This promises to be a conference not to be missed, after the European event SOLD OUT in 2011, and will provide delegates with global perspectives on food contact regulation from leading industry experts and national legislators from across the world. This conference will also be co-located with Extractables and Leachables USA 2012, a new conference for 2012, jointly organised with Smithers Rapra.

This year at the she will give the opening keynote address at both conferences; "Regulatory advances in FCM in 2011 and proposed future developments and challenges conference" on the Plastics programme and "Future legislative developments for paper and paperboard in the EU" on the Paper programme.

Eugenio Cavallini has been the Chairman of the CEPI Food Contact Group for 8 years. Eugenio is the CEPI Food Contact Technical Manager and has also an activity as a consultant for P&B Industry.

Working within the risk management section of the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration, including the national and international work in EU, the Nordic Corporation and Codex Alimentarius, the Codex Committee on Contaminants in Food and the Codex Committee on Food Additives.
John Swift is Director, Regulatory Affairs for SCA Packaging, one of Europe's largest manufacturers of corrugated cases. Based in Brussels, his responsibilities extend across Europe and include the external representation of the company for a wide range of environmental and technical issues, including product safety. Amongst these many external involvements he has chaired the Cross Industry Working Group, responsible for the development of the Industry Guideline.
Since 2003 Dimitrios is Senior Scientific Officer – Co-ordinator for Food Contact Materials, EUROPEAN FOOD SAFETY AUTHORITY (EFSA) – CEF Unit.
Management of all questions on (FCM) such as applications for evaluation of substances , recycling processes, guidelines, emergency issues.
