Dr. Motoh Mutsuga is an analytical chemist at the National Institute of Health Sciences (NIHS) Japan for food additives, where he develops instrument and test methods for food contact materials. He received his doctorate in Phytochemistry in 2000 from Nagoya City University. From 2001 he has worked at NIHS, from 2011 as Section Chief.

Ms Zhu Lei works at China National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment(CFSA) , previously National Institute of Nutrition and Food Safety(NINFS), China CDC. She is responsible for secretariat of food related products sub-committee under Committee on China National Food Safety Standard and food packaging clean-up expert panel. She participated in revision of GB 9685 National standard of additives used in food packaging materials and currently is organizing revision work of commodity safety standards of food packaging materials.
Barry Novak currently holds the position of Quality Manager in General Mills’ Packaging Quality and Regulatory Operations organization where he has been employed the past 12 years. In this role, he manages the relationships between General Mills and its packaging suppliers, focusing on the areas of material quality, regulatory compliance, food safety of packaging materials and the packaging material effect on overall line efficiency.
