FDA and food contact materials: A Workshop on Current Practices and Future Trends
In this half day workshop, a leading US attorney in the food contact arena will refresh your understanding of how the FDA regulates food contact materials and also discuss what's happening now at the FDA and how these new initiatives are expected to affect future policy and prospects of innovative new materials and uses.
Topics include:
- Food Contact Substance notifications
- The GRAS concept and its role in food contact analyses
- Strategic considerations when developing a new use of a material
- Nanotechnology, active and intelligent packaging, BPA, and other challenges
